Prices are per month with no VAT added, as we are not VAT registered. After the trial, if you do not subscribe, your account becomes read only: you can still open, copy and print what you made, but you cannot save new jobs. To subscribe, email hello@pricebench.co.uk. Online card payment is on its way.

I am a plumber and bathroom fitter in Glasgow. I built PriceBench to price my own jobs faster and more fairly, and now I want it shaped by other trades. In the free trial there is a feedback button. Tell me what is missing and I will look at it.
Questions
Do the prices come out exactly right?
No tool can know your local prices, your merchant or how you work. PriceBench gives you a sound starting point from typical hours and materials, and every figure can be changed. You are responsible for checking a quote before you send it.
Do I need a card to start?
No. Make an account with your email and use everything for 30 days.
What happens when the trial ends?
You can still sign in and open, copy and print every job you made. To save new jobs, subscribe by emailing us. Nothing is deleted.
Can I use my own materials supplier?
Yes. Materials are priced by you, so it does not matter whether you buy from a trade counter, a local merchant or online.
Does it work for VAT registered firms?
Yes. Switch VAT on in Settings, add your VAT number, and say whether your material prices already include VAT. If you are not VAT registered, leave it off.
Who can see my jobs?
Only you, through your own login. Read the privacy page for the detail.
Does it work offline?
You need a connection to sign in and save. Once the app has loaded you can keep working on a job, but it will not save to your account until you are back online.
